Preamble
These general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) apply to all reservations made with the Hostellerie Groff, located in Biesheim, and govern the contractual relations between the establishment and the customer.

Definitions
- Individual: Any natural person making a reservation for personal, non-professional use.
- Standard Rate: Flexible rate allowing free cancellation up to 4 days before the arrival date.

Reservation
Any reservation, whether made by telephone, email or online, constitutes acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions. Any changes to a reservation (dates, number of people, type of stay) must be notified in writing to the establishment. For your reservation to be firm, we ask you:
- Your written confirmation “Yes, I have read the booking and cancellation conditions”
- Your Bank Card number (16 digits + Expiration date)
- Collection of the stay at D-2

Payment methods :
Cash, cards, bank checks, transfers.
Booking conditions for individuals
Payment is generally made when the reservation is made, upon arrival or departure of the customer, according to the terms agreed upon when booking.
- Standard rates: Payment is made upon arrival or departure.

Cancellation conditions:
TOTAL or PARTIAL cancellation:
- Standard Rates only: Cancellation is free up to 3 days before the arrival date, after this period, late cancellation will be charged:
- 1 night 100%
- + 25% of the following nights.
- No-Show will be charged: 100% of the stay.

Excluding tourist tax, breakfasts and extras…
Conditions for modifications:
Change of dates: Subject to availability, changes of dates can be accepted. A price adjustment will be applied based on the new dates.

Force Majeure
The hotel cannot be held responsible for the non-performance or poor performance of its obligations in the event of a force majeure event, as defined by French case law (natural disasters, strikes, etc.). Travel Insurance Customers are reminded that some banks and other organizations offer travel insurance that can cover certain unforeseen events, such as cancellation of a stay due to illness, accident or other force majeure. We invite customers to contact their bank to check the conditions and extent of the coverage offered by their card.

Responsibility
The hotel’s liability is limited in the event of theft, loss or damage to guests’ property, unless proven fault is present. Guests are advised to take out appropriate insurance.

Personal Data
The hotel collects personal data from customers in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the GDPR. This data is used only for the management of reservations and the improvement of services.

Complaints
Any complaints must be made in writing to the hotel management within 7 days of departure.

Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
